For restaurants

Get discovered for what's not on the menu

Your menu is already everywhere. The reasons people actually choose you are not.

Every platform you are already on does a version of the same job. Maps knows where you are. Review sites know what people thought. Your own website knows what you serve. None of them are built to answer the question a diner is really asking, which is why this room instead of the one across the street.

The view. The patio the dog is welcome on. The room quiet enough for a real conversation. The table you would put an anniversary at. The fact that the same family has run the pit since 1968. Those are the reasons people choose, and almost none of them are structured anywhere a search engine or an AI assistant can read.

That is the gap BellyUp works in. We already build a discovery profile for restaurants in this city whether they participate or not, because the profile is built from what is publicly observable. You do not have to do anything for it to exist. What you can do is make it accurate, and then make it better.

The conversation starter

We are not going to ask whether you want to buy a directory listing. The conversation we actually want to have is this one:

Here is what we can currently discover about your restaurant. Here is what search and AI appear able to understand about you. And here is what they are missing.

Start with your free profile

How it progresses

Nothing here starts with buying a listing. It starts with finding out what is already true.

  1. 1

    Public profile Free, already running

We research the venue, file it under the discovery categories the evidence supports, and publish it. You do not need to know we exist for this to happen. Every field we could not verify is left empty rather than guessed at.

  2. 2

    Claimed and verified Free

You tell us what we have wrong, what we are missing, and what you most want to be known for. We verify it and mark the record as claimed. This is where most of the value shows up, because you know things about your own room that are not observable from outside it.

  3. 3

    Enhanced discovery Paid

Full category coverage across every discovery surface we run, photography, the details that make a category page choose you, and placement in the city guides and neighborhood pages where the searches actually land.

  4. 4

    Visibility analysis Paid

A real read on where you stand: which categories you are visible for, which ones you should own and do not, who is currently ahead of you in them, and what specifically is stopping a machine from understanding your restaurant.

  5. 5

    Discovery optimization Paid

The work itself. Structured data on your own site, hours and menus a crawler can read, entity consistency across the places that matter, and the categories you want to be found for made explicit instead of implied.

  6. 6

    Ongoing visibility Paid, monthly

Measurement that keeps running, so you can see whether any of it worked. Category position over time, what changed, and what the next gap is.

Categories nobody in Atlanta owns yet

Not one venue in our Atlanta dataset is currently filed under any of these. If one of them describes your restaurant, that is an open lane, and the whole list is public in the discovery report.

What we will not do

Questions we get

We are already on every platform. Why does this matter?

Because those platforms structure what you serve, where you are, and what people scored you. They do not structure why somebody would choose you. If the reason people love your room is the room, that reason is currently invisible to every system a diner or an assistant is asking.

What does the free profile actually cost us?

Nothing, and it already exists. The only thing claiming it costs is the time to tell us what we got wrong.

Do you take the listing down if we do not pay?

No. The public profile stays public. It is how the city gets covered, and holding it hostage would wreck the only thing that makes the dataset worth anything.

Can you guarantee we rank for something?

No, and anyone who does is selling you something. What we can do is measure what is readable about you now, fix the parts that are not, and show you the difference.

We set the table and save you a barstool

Tell us what you want to be discovered for. The first read costs nothing.
