How BellyUp ATL Works

One venue, one record. Every restaurant, bar, and nightlife spot in the network lives as a single entity on bellyupatl.com, tagged with the audience, dietary, and experience attributes that describe it. There's no duplicate content across sites — every category subdomain (Vegan ATL, BBQ ATL, Bars ATL, and more as they launch) reads from the same underlying data and filters it for its audience.

How a venue gets tagged. We research real details — address, neighborhood, cuisine, dietary options, whether it's kid-friendly or open late — and a venue can legitimately show up on more than one site. A BBQ joint with a serious cocktail program belongs on both BBQ ATL and Bars ATL. That's by design.

Community submissions. Anyone can submit a spot or a recommendation. Submissions are reviewed before they go live, and once approved they're always attributed to the person who submitted them — "Community recommended," never a first-party BellyUp ATL claim.

Verification. Every venue record notes when it was last verified. Hours, menus, and ownership change — always confirm directly with the venue before you go.
