Atlanta's plant-based scene runs deeper than any one neighborhood. Soul Vegetarian carries a lineage back to 1979, and the last few years have added a genuinely vegan pizzeria, a vegan bakery, and a Black-owned vegan-and-gluten-free stir-fry concept downtown.
100% vegan kitchens: Slutty Vegan, Soul Vegetarian No. 2, Planted Soul, Stir House, Plant Based Pizzeria, and Dulce Vegan Bakery & Cafe are all fully vegan menus, no exceptions.
Vegan-friendly, not fully vegan: Cafe Sunflower runs a vegetarian menu with extensive vegan options, and Bole Ethiopian's traditional fasting/veggie combo platters are a legitimately good vegan option even though the kitchen isn't exclusively plant-based.
Every listing here was checked against the restaurant's own site or a recent local news mention before publishing -- a few commonly cited Atlanta "vegan spots" turned out to be closed or in a different city entirely, so we left those off.
